Wednesday morning appeared routine: a nice sunny morning, with H/D sitting tight on the nest. Then at 9.10, she stood up and we saw that there were TWO eggs! On checking the recording, we found that the secong egg was laid at 7.45 am that morning. This time it was Grace who rang the bell to announce the news to Wigtown. Will we get a third and perhaps a fourth egg? H/D has usually laid three, so we are hoping for a further egg at the week-end, if not before. Watch this space
