April 22nd - 30th

Well, we've been having an interesting time this last week or so! The new young male still wasn't really doing anything useful, and we were resigning ourselves to a non-breeding season, when suddenly, on 26th April, there was another osprey on the nest! This one, though a male, has no rings, so we know nothing about him. But he has a much better idea than EP about his role in life, and immediately set about bringing H/D some fish, which she accepted. Since the arrival of the new male, we have had no sightings of EP. So do we dare start to hope? Might we yet hear the patter of (not so) tiny feet? Watch this space!
